Fans of American Idol will remember Luke Menard as the dimple-faced carpet-layer cutie from early this season. He made it to the top 16, but failed to impress and was sent packing after singing Wham’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.


Now Menard is in the news for another reason. A representative of Menard’s a capella group, Chapter 6, recently reported that the young singer has been diagnosed with cancer.
