Nashville Star Contestant Justin Gaston is a hired model. He is not a singer at all. NBC needed a "heartthrob hottie" and hired him to take the role of a contestant. He is a very successful underwear model. He went through no audtions and has probably never performed publicly. This sham really sucks. It is no longer a contest, but a scripted show with the network and producers controlling the result.
